It’s Laurie here, and I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope and excitement as we gear up for one of the most meaningful events of our year – The Big Move Cancer Ride. This isn’t just any event; it’s a personal commitment for James and me, as well as our incredible community, to make a real difference for those battling cancer at the Walker Cancer Center in St. Catharines.
A Milestone to celebrate:
This year is particularly special for us. James and I are being inducted into the Platinum Peddlers Club, a group recognizing those who’ve passionately and persistently supported this cause. We’ve reached a milestone of raising over $10,000 as a team, We’re deeply honoured by this recognition, and it only strengthens our resolve to continue.
Why we ride
Each pedal stroke in our 75km journey is a symbol of our dedication. We ride because cancer has touched many lives around us, perhaps even yours. It’s a battle no one should face alone, and through this ride, we support not just medical advancements but also those enduring treatments today.
